WELCOME!
This is my simple website to provide info and links to my content that I have created for the Trainz railroad simulator. All of my content is (or will be once completed, if it is still a WIP) hosted at the Auran Download Station (aka the DLS). In the TEMPLATES section you will also find links to my Photoshop files hosted at my mediafire account, for those who wish to re-paint my content.
Enjoy!

WORKS IN PROGRESS.
T:ANE BETA FILES SECTION ADDED
I have added a page for some beta files of my content for T:ANE. If you go to the pull down under "more..." up in the header you'll find the section for TANE Beta Files. That will take you to the current selection of beta files for content that is I.P. Check back occasionally, because (assuming all goes well with this) I plan on adding things as I think they're ready to be tested.
NEW MODELS...
I've taken a slight break from the K-M; I've been working on it for so long I needed to step away for a bit to regain my focus. Not that this means I stopped modelling; I've just been working on a few new odds and ends...
This is the basic roughed in shape and texture for my SP SD-45T2.
UPDATE: This is in beta. You can find the files for this on the TANE Beta Files page.
Here is a render of the current state of my model for an SP C-40-4 bay window caboose. Still a WIP not ready for the game stage (yet), but with some basic mapping and textures applied.

Here is how my SP SD40 looks so far. This model is from the first order of units, which had the handbrake in the nose pocket. I plan on creating a model for the second order which had the handbrake on a stand at the rear of the long hood.

This is the current state of the SP SD40R with the 1984 Olympic 'snowflake' paint treatment. I need to work on the LOD levels, and then the cab for it.

SP KRAUSS MAFFEI CONTINUES....
Quick video I put together which shows the current state of the early version SP Krauss-Maffei ML-4000.
This is what happens when a profit driven company seeks to find a use for a piece of equipment that they no longer want to maintain in revenue service.
My real life work has been very demanding of late, but I still continue to work on the K-M in all its various forms. Hopefully soon I'll have some more shots to post of the other versions too.

SOME NEW K-M CAB SHOTS....

A couple of new shots of the K-M cab interior. I am also working on all the attachment points and levers, needles, etc. for the animations. I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, at least as far as having the first release done.
SP SD-9 PROGRESS....

Some new pictures of progress on the SP SD-9. It is definitely coming along. And I've started on the cab for it (see below).
SD-9 CAB

An updated render of my SD-9 cab. Still a lot more work to do, but it is coming along. One thing about this cab; you really get a feel for how limited the forward view was for engineer's in these SD / GP high hood units, compared to the low nose SD / GE units. Just goofing around in game I spend a lot of time with the view scrolled way in so the forward window fills more of the screen, because otherwise I'm just looking at a lot of green wall...
JUST TO SHOW...

... it wasn't too difficult to create a new texture for a completely different road, using the base texture I created. I did find a few things I will change about how I do the mapping moving forward, but all in all, not too shabby for 4 hrs. of futzing about.
SOME OTHER ITEMS IN PROGRESS....

An SPMW Diffco side dump car.
An F45 locomotive, which will first be in Santa Fe paint (so I can run them over Tehachapi where they belong... )
CB&Q DROP BOTTOM GON....

This poor drop bottom gon really needs to be finished someday. It has it's basic LOD models and the attachment points added in; the shadow model is complete and ready. For whatever reason it just sits languishing, however, as other projects draw me away...
